The new Digital Nation website is just awesome. They are calling their video submission page “Life On the Frontier” and when you visit you’ll see a whole page full of interesting interviews with people. They’re from all walks of life, every age imaginable – talking about technology and it’s impact on their life.
I’ll write a more in-depth piece about the new site soon. Today, I want to discuss YouTube. I haven’t spent much time (in fact there’s not a single post in my archives) discussing teenagers and You Tube. But after discovering the video below (on the Digital Nation site), I have a lot to consider.

Nancy Mantelli, a teacher, was filmed at NECC ‘09. Hear what she has to say about video-taping and liability issues:

Listening to Ms. Mantelli, reminds me there are legal issues not many parents discuss with their kids. My teens aren’t heavily involved in making videos, so I haven’t thought much about it. I’m thinking now! Look for more on this …I’m not done yet.
